MBH SPECIAL HUNTING AWARDS APPLICATION

Please Note: This application is for the Grand Slam, Expert Bowhunter, Master Bowhunter and Master Small Game awards ONLY. Qualifications: All Animals MUST be taken in Michigan. All animals must be taken with bow and arrow in accordance with the rules of fair chase as stated in the MBH Constitution. Applicant must also be a member in good standing at the time all animals were taken.

 

Grand Slam Award: Deer, Bear and a 30-point animal (turkey, goose, coyote, fox or bobcat) all taken in the same year.

Expert Bowhunter Award: 15 MBH Big Game awards, two small game awards including one 30-point animal, one 15 pound rough fish and ten years MBH membership.

Master Bowhunter Award: 25 MBH Big Game awards including one Black Bear, one 20 pound rough fish, three small game awards including two thirty-point animals and 15 years MBH membership.

Master Small Game Award: All Five thirty-point animals (turkey, goose, coyote, fox and bobcat) PLUS 60 accumulated points under the small game awards program. (Special Note: All animals taken prior to the 1994 hunting season are NOT applicable towards this award.)

 

Supporting documentation to verify those animals that may not be on file with Awards Director can be scanned and submitted to the Awards Director at dlfrein@comcast.net,   Deadline for all award applications is January 15th.  Paper documentation can also be sent to Awards Director, Dan Frein, 833 Carlton St., Muskegon, MI  49442
