New MBH Custom Knife - Recon Hunter

Jim Behring is a custom knife maker from Ray Twp, MI. One of his military knives made the cover of the  Dec issue of Blade Magazine. One of his new models is the Recon Hunter pictured here. Jim approached us about offering his new model as an MBH custom knife. The knives are made as they are ordered. Please allow 3 - 4 weeks for delivery. More as we get further into the hunting season.

The knife is custom made with the best 3/16 " thick O1 tool steel. It is vacuum heat treated to perfection to a RC  hardness of 57/58. This knife is coated with the durable Chromium Dense finish and will not rust or tarnish. Very tough finish that is used on cutting tools, hand tools, injection molds, etc., to increase there durable wear time. This is a 72 Rockwell plating that is actually imbedded into the molecules of the tool steel. The hollow grind is flawless with a razor sharp edge that will hold up better than anything made. Blade is 4.5 " long with an overall length of about 9.250 . The full tang handle has custom made 3-color Camo G10 micarta scales with a fine cross hatch and a lanyard loop on the butt. The knife comes with a premium made pouch sheath in your choice of pigskin or leather basket-weave.

Michigan Bowhunters Flags

Display a special order MBH flag at your camp site, hunting camp or the house. The flags are a nylon weave and measure 12 x16 inches. The poles are painted steel, measure 38 inches tall and break down into three 18 inch section for travel and storage.

The standard flag with both logos only are $13.  The custom flags with your name, district etc are $15  (see examples below)  Poles are $15.  Shipping is $3 for a flag and $6 for the flag and pole. Flags are made to order. Allow two weeks for delivery.
