Michigan Bow Hunters Annual Spring Awards Banquet

Where: Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City

Saturday, May 3: Member awards presentation begins at 1:00 in the Great Wolf Lodge Symposium, Social hour is 4:30 – 6:00 (registration will take place as well as the opportunity to enter raffles, view auction items and socialize amongst friends. Cash bar available), and Dinner will begin at 6:00. The award presentations of The Bow Hunter of the Year, Lady of the Year and Hall of Fame inductions will follow dinner. The evening will feature great items for live auctions, silent auction, card blitzes, squares, and can raffles. 

In addition to the above events, we will have the following auxiliary activities:

·        Gander Mountain discounted shopping- the Traverse City Gander Mountain store is located right next to the Great Wolf Lodge. The store will have special discounts and coupons for MBH members available on Friday and Saturday of the banquet weekend.

·        Gauthier's Archery DART system shooting-Jim Gauthier has been a long time MBH supporter with his first class archery shop. Jim has graciously offered free range time on his DART system for any MBH member. Contact Jim at the shop to reserve space at (231) 943-4432. The shop is located about 10 minutes south of the Great Wolf Lodge on the same highway.

Sunday, May 4: The annual Membership Meeting at 9:00AM in the Great Wolf Lodge Conference Center.  MBH will provide lunch.  This is the annual business meeting of the organization. It allows members to provide formal input to the
board of directors and fellow members as well as having the chance to shape the direction of the organization via your vote. The annual financial information will be presented as well.

There are blocks of rooms at two locations reserved for those that need them. Make sure you tell them you are with Michigan Bow Hunters for the discount rates.

1. The primary location for lodging is at Great Wolf Lodge. The Great Wolf Lodge has given MBH a great discount for this weekend.  A family of four room rate is $129 per night (regular rate is $279) and this includes water park passes for each day reserved and the day of departure.  231-941-3600
